Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was raised in the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. She graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. She then completed an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. in New York City in 1990. She immediately began performing in shows on Broadway eventually earning praise for her performance in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
